"Gor Chana Chat Masala" refers to a spicy and tangy snack made from roasted or fried **whole black chickpeas (kala chana or gor chana)** seasoned with **chat masala** and other spices. It’s a popular street food in South Asia, especially in India and Pakistan, known for its crunchy texture and bold flavors.

### **Ingredients:**
- 1 cup **whole black chickpeas (gor chana/kala chana)**
- 1 tsp **red chili powder** (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp **chaat masala**
- ½ tsp **roasted cumin powder (bhuna zeera)**
- ½ tsp **black salt (kala namak)**
- ½ tsp **amchur (dry mango powder)**
- 1 tbsp **oil** (for roasting)
- **Salt** to taste
- **Lemon juice** (optional, for extra tanginess)
- **Fresh coriander & chopped onions** (optional, for garnish)

### **Preparation Method:**
1. **Soak & Boil:**
   - Soak gor chana overnight (8-10 hours).
   - Drain, rinse, and pressure cook with water and a pinch of salt until tender (3-4 whistles).
   - Alternatively, use pre-boiled or canned black chickpeas.

2. **Roast/Fry:**
   - Heat oil in a pan and add boiled gor chana.
   - Roast on medium heat until crispy (10-15 mins).
   - For extra crunch, deep-fry until golden (optional).

3. **Season:**
   - Sprinkle **red chili powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, black salt, amchur**, and salt.
   - Toss well and roast for 1-2 mins more.

4. **Serve:**
   - Garnish with lemon juice, coriander, and onions if desired.
   - Enjoy as a spicy, protein-rich snack!

### **Variations:**
- **Sweet & Spicy:** Add a pinch of sugar or jaggery.
- **Garlic Flavor:** Toss with garlic powder or minced garlic while roasting.
